Originating from the Isle of Purbeck, this stone has shaped iconic structures such as Buckingham Palace, St Paul’s Cathedral, and the Victoria & Albert Museum. The work delves into the stone's place of origin, its historical and contemporary uses, and the natural landscapes from which it is extracted, establishing a connection between ourselves and the land through the stone.
